Tom was looking for a photographer to capture his proposal moment to long term partner Alice, she had always said was that she had wanted a photographer to capture this moment. It is such an honour to be able to document these memories - the giddy excitement and joyful reactions are so beautiful to see.
He chose a special location for both of them, where they had been on one of their first dates. It also happened to be a striking location for photos too with the sheer rocks and beautiful countryside around them.
We planned that I would follow some distance behind (with a long lens), capture some of the moments beforehand and then some couples/engagement photos afterwards. This was the build up an dthe moment:
They were both so happy and excited afterwards, and it was amazing to be a part of this - just look at those faces!
